Greetings, cava, namaskar and marhaba!
This is Atomic gitten, your correspondent from the middle east.
For The news in this previously calm territory-as you may have surmised the presence of this Git has already caused chaos to begin uncurling her twisted fingers...
Climatically, yours truly is freezing in the heat.
vous ne comprenez?
Its hot outside but the AC makes us huddle in the blankets and have nose blocks( heh heh heh...do I hear grinding dental parts?). Of course the heat here is 'peanuts'-to use a Knightly phraseology-compared to Chennai or Kerala. This correspondent expresses her sincere condolences to the receiving end(s?) of Ms. Posh git's cooking and driving. How many wreaths should we order?
Gitler old chap, I am doing your job here! I have been asked to conduct a quiz in my school. Yes, I know-hieghts of irony, heh heh heh. Apart from this there is a play coming up so that aught to keep moi busy. However, these attractions are frugal meal for a Git's voracious appetite for interesting activities. Besides that gits get so bored in this Pearl of the Middle East -that they actually resort to EATING just to keep themselves sane....or should I say insane.Fortunately I am planning to take up a job here- so thats double gain: less boredom and more money ( hee hee hee-I'm being paid for being relieved from gloom).
Thats the news update from this side of the globe. Will be back with more news from the Arabian Gulf. Until then, my globe trotting and non trotting compatriots, I bidst thou adieu, farewell, au revoir, arividerci...and so on and so forth( Farquad style ;-D)
May the Spirit of Tig watch over you all.Nema.

Aloha again Gits!!!
I know, I know, you guys missed me so much...it's alright, I realize I'm very popular ;-) he ho ha! Well, just returned from a trip to God's own country, where Sir Git is probably roasting up by now...Yes, the place is one hell of a competitor with Chennai's heat right now!! You should have seen me getting baked, what with being decked up in artificial jewellery and heavy silk for my cousin's wedding!!! Of course, I cooled off on the beach with all the cousins(19 on my mum's side alone, can you believe it?) and enjoyed the yum 'mallu' food.. So now I'm back in good ol' native 'ooru', which unfortunately has not given up it's spot as the hottest place in Tamil Nadu for the zillionth year in running!!! Now to get down to cooking and driving classes, both of which I'm miserable at ;-) So that's the news update from this corner of the earth...By the way, my apologies for not contributing to our revered site for so long, but now that I've woken up-wake up fellow gits!!!! Let's see some blogging action huh, what say?? That's it for now, will drop in again soon...ta-ta!

Hey, gits, it's a special day!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY OBSGIT!
You missed the annual Git day by nine days but hey! Close enough...
May the great Tig, patron Deity of the Gits, shower all her blessings upon you! As the eldest among the gits (I think...) may you forge new paths and break all barriers to contribute to the glory of the pretty glorious order of the Gits.
Hail gits!
P.S.: You people had better buck up and write me some brilliant poetry/dedication notes for MY birthday! Gifts, cash and cheques are also accepted.

Dear Gits,
I'm afraid I've been guilty of neglect. Not a single post from me since the first two! I'm sure nobody missed me... sniff, sniff... but what the hell! This blog cannot go for so long without being afflicted by me! Hehehe. So here I am, typing merrily away. May I state politely and quietly, I BLEEDING HATE EXAMS!! They drive me to multiple exclamations--which is saying something!
They're a pain in the neck, especially when I have to sit down and mug facts about a bunch of dead guys who lived long LONG before I was even a glimmer of an idea of a thought of a notion in the genetic line of the ancestors of my blessed parents! And why? Well, that's life! The only consolation is that, well, our brilliant little group was inspired by one such group of dead guys (we really should write a post on the University Wits--enlighten the world and all that.)
Anyway... deep breath. Well I've vented precisely 1.73695% of my irritation and frustration. Now I shall go kick a few puppies and scare a few kids to round it off.
Ah, life's good. (serve with portions of sarcasm sauce as needed)
